Happy Wednesday! Let’s check in our primary bedroom.
Welcome back to another week of One Room Challenge. We are so excited to share with you our mood board(s) for Gpa’s bedroom suite. Yes, we are getting our hands dirty and renovating not just one space, but three! An entire suite! If you need a reminder of what our rooms look like currently, you can see them in our week one post.
Other than that, let’s jump right in and see what’s we’ve dreamt up for this space.
But first…
Week 1 / This Week / Week 3 / Week 4 / Week 5 / Week 6 / Week 7 / Week 8
We have referred to this room as Gpa’s, especially since he’s the primary resident of the space, however, it really is the primary suite of our home. So, we kept that in mind when we created our moodboard for the space. Which means, Country Club Chic had to go…and we went a more zen route. Or neutrals.
Definitely a slight departure from what people expect from us. Yes, we love color and pattern, but for a bedroom space, we love to have a more zen/neutral vibe.
That’s how we need to describe this space. It’s not boring, it will be the loveliest retreat for our us here, which will include the most classic and timeless of bathroom spaces. Oh yes! And a fantastic dressing room, primary closet too.
There are a few more surprises up our sleeves, but we will be sharing those as we get closer to the reveal, however you get the main idea behind this primary bedroom suite. It’s decidedly neutral, a total retreat to enjoy and escape to at the end of the day.
Here’s a peek at the bathroom too…we are busy working on creating a classic and timeless space here too.
Here’s where we are at…it’s always fun to include a little status report. Below you will see the demo of the closet beginning. The plan is to open up this space to the bathroom, and give more space here to really create a true primary bedroom suite. My partner in crime is Gpa, he is always good for a project.
Same time, same place for week 3 of ORC, and check out these . In the mean time, please check out the other Featured Designers who are also mixing up some fantastic projects.
