Recently, we celebrated my sweet Odette Starling’s first birthday, with her favorite things. Since she is our almost valentine, we went with a love theme, and raided the Target $1 section for some awesome decorations.

We celebrated with balloons, and banners, and lots of love for our almost valentine.

What a big girl! Enjoying her cake! I made the cake from the Williams Sonoma Devils Food Cake recipe, and adapted a strawberry frosting recipe I found online for my strawberry eating girl! How great is this shirt? We found it at the most charming store in Brooklyn called Hiho Batik….check it out here.
