We want to introduce you to Blayne. Last year, we attended the Design Influencers Conference in Atlanta, and received an email to attend an artists studio. And then it was all over. She had us at sparkling rose.
But seriously, she wowed us with her beautiful artwork, and bubbly personality. It didn’t hurt that she also went to college in Boston, has a penchant for color, and marries the abstract with folk art. We bought a piece of artwork from her that night, and have continued to buy and share her work.
So, today, we share our quick Q+A with you…it’s fun (remember this one from our favorite organizer?) and we know you’ll fall in love with her too. Plus, we have a few pieces of her art you must have.

My daughter came into my room at 6:30. I went and got a cup of coffee, got back in bed, and we snuggled while we watched an episode of The Great British Baking Show.
If you could spend your day with anyone in the world, who would that be?
Probably my dad, who passed away a few years ago.
Sweet or Savory?
What are the three things you can’t live without?

I’ve read like 15 Elin Hildenbrand books in a row.
If you could switch lives with one person, who would it be?

What do you have in your purse right now?
Credit cards, face lotion, airborn, kids crayons, and a golf glove (never know when you might need it!).

Banff, Canada or Cumberland Island, Ga.
What’s one city you’ve dreamed of traveling to?

Went to Venice to study oil painting alone for 5 weeks at 17.
Early riser or Night owl?
Dogs or cats?

Camping… but I’ll go to a lot of lengths to see my kids really happy… so if that’s Disney then I’d be happy there too!
Ocean or lake?
Lake – but I do like finding shells at the beach!
Coffee or tea?
Both! I love a hot cup of tea at night!

Today, we are sharing our latest interview with artist, Pamela Bates. Our paths crossed late in 2019 in an instagram mastermind course with our fearless leader: Erica Reitman. Wow...we recently discovered folk artist Marvin Finn. Spaces You'll never know how we even found out where and why we found out either...such a great story, with a bummer ending. Over the holiday break, Kim and I went on a random thrift trip on our way to do some returns at the Natick Mall in…
