Dark wood paneling bringing you down?
Not up for all the work of tearing it out and most likely the added expense of having to repair the wall after it is torn out. Heck, no need to fret. It is amazing what a few coats of white paint can do to the dark dated look of dark paneling. Every room in this old house was covered in dark wood paneling.
