Impeccable FIXER+UPPER: How to go from dated to chic white bathroom

Oh my…we wanted a White bathroom…

We knew that there was so much potential at our Woodbury fixer upper, but sometimes it’s really, really…really hard to see past the dated wood paneling.  It’s dark.  Dingy. Just so much…WOOD!  For real, it’s so much wood.

Here’s the before of our Woodbury bathroom flip:

Dated to White Bathroom

Are you still living like this?  Stuck in the 70s?

Really, all you need is a fresh set of eyes, white paint, and a lot of elbow grease to make your bathroom sing again.  We really didn’t change much here.  We kept the original footprint of everything, replaced the tile (with a large 12 x 24 from Lowes), painted everything our favorite shade of white (Ben Moore White Dove), new countertops, and plumbing hardware (including a new toilet).  Needless to say, changing this dreadful space into a beautiful white bathroom made all of the difference.

Look at how much our fixer+upper bathrooms have changed. Totally transformed. We used a classic white formula and we think you will agree they look lovely.
