Its the BIG REVEAL. 9 weeks ago we had a big idea. Today is a dream come true.
We knew that there was so much potential at our Woodbury fixer upper, but sometimes it’s really, really…really hard to see past the dated wood paneling. It’s dark. Dingy. Just so much…WOOD! For real, it’s so much wood.
Ugh…like…ugh.
Really, all you need is a fresh set of eyes, white paint, and a lot of elbow grease to make your bathroom sing again. We really didn’t change much here. We kept the original footprint of everything, replaced the tile (with a large 12 x 24 from Lowes), painted everything our favorite shade of white (Ben Moore White Dove), new countertops, and plumbing hardware (including a new toilet). Needless to say, changing this dreadful space into a beautiful white bathroom made all of the difference.
Look at how much our fixer+upper bathrooms have changed. Totally transformed. We used a classic white formula and we think you will agree they look lovely.
Fresh. Clean. Modern. A perfect combination for an awesome Mid Century Modern house that is 30 years past its prime. Here are some of our favorite bathroom posts from the blog (master bathroom refresh, bathroom refresh) be sure to check them out for inspiration for your bathroom project!
