We are bored with white kitchens.

For sure, white kitchens are great.
Clean, modern, simple…beautiful.

I mean, white kitchens are all good, except as designers, we are looking to move on to the next creative hot look. We are craving something warm and comfortable.  It almost seems like we are saying something blasphemous, but we can’t wait to have something a little different.

Here’s what we’ve done for our final kitchen selections:

  • Hickory cabinets
  • Soapstone countertops
  • Spanish mosaic tile backsplash
  • Brass faucet, drawer pulls, and accents.
  • Hardwood floors
  • Vintage Persian rug
  • Rush Stools
  • Iron Birdcage Pendant
  • Professional Chef stainless steel appliances

Not a drop of white anywhere.

Texture. Warmth. Color. Pattern. Metals. Wood. Stone.

Still missing the feeling of a white kitchen?

We aren’t  We love that this feels like being wrapped up in a cashmere blanket, on a vintage leather chair, with a beautiful classic hardcover novel by the fire. Right?  Quite the feeling we’ve created with this kitchen.  No one is going to talk about white kitchens in this home.

Are you feeling what we are feeling?
