This time of year we are usually participating on a Building on Hope design. Last year we renovated and designed work on Manchester Police Athletic League (MPAL). 5000 square feet of gym space, dedicated to boxing, Cross Fit workouts and inspiration everywhere. MPAL is a great organization and a huge contributior to the local community and youth. But the space was so dark and uninspiring when we first started. However, we amazed ourselves how we transformed this old basement for boxing and working out.
The MPAL building was dedicated to a local Officer who lost his life while working, a dedication that means a lot to the community. Needless to say this renovation didn’t just touch the lives of the kids and community, it connected with the Police Officers too. Working on the MPAL building was a huge feat, but we cannot wait until the next project.
Next year Building on Hope has selected the Crisis Center of Central New Hampshire. Impeccable Nest will help renovate and design for women and children fleeing domestic violence and abuse.
